浜田省吾カバーミニアルバムがオリコン週間アルバムランキングで1位2位独占の快挙達成
『The Moonlight Cats Radio Show Vol. 1』
浜田省吾がツアーバンドメンバーと共に制作した自身初となるカバーミニアルバム『The Moonlight Cats Radio Show』Vol. 1 & Vol. 2が、9月6日(水)に２枚同時リリースされ、オリコン週間アルバムランキングで初登場1位・2位を獲得した。
2015年4月29日に発表した10年ぶりのオリジナルアルバム『Journey of a Songwriter ～ 旅するソングライター』が2週連続で首位を獲得し、60代のアーティストとしてシングル・アルバムを通じ史上初の2週連続首位獲得で大きな話題を呼んだ浜田省吾だが、この前作に続いての快挙達成となった。アルバム1位獲得は2年4ヵ月ぶり通算10作目、浜田省吾作品によるアルバム1位・2位独占は、1976年のソロデビュー以来初となる。
