オアシスの800万枚超売り上げた名盤3rd『ビィ・ヒア・ナウ』の豪華BOXセットが予約開始

オアシスが世界的なバンドに、そして現象になるまでの最重要期間・1993-1997を振り返るプロジェクト“チェイシング・ザ・サン”のシリーズ第3弾として、豪華ボックス・セット『BE HERE NOW(Remastered)』(D2C Super Deluxe Box Set)の予約受付が本日9月5日（月）18時よりソニーミュージックショップにて開始される。
『BE HERE NOW(Remastered)』(D2C Super Deluxe Box Set)は、オリジナル・アルバム『ビィ・ヒア・ナウ』の最新リマスター盤に未発表レア・トラックが追加された、CD3枚組の『ビィ・ヒア・ナウ』デラックス・エディション（単体商品としても販売）に加え、2枚組LP、レア写真満載の52Ｐハードカヴァー豪華本、マーク・コイルによる「スタンド・バイ・ミー」、「ゴーイング・ノーウェアー」の初期デモ音源2曲を収録した7インチ限定ヴァイナル、マスティク島でのデモ音源６曲を収録した12インチ・ヴァイナル、「ドゥ・ユー・ノウ・ワット・アイ・ミーン?(NG’s 2016 Rethink)」のプロモ盤CD、グッズなどが豪華ボックスに収容された商品。プロジェクト第１弾『オアシス(原題:Definitely Maybe)』のボックス・セットは発売日を待たずして予約開始から即完売しており、今作も予約殺到が予想されるファン必携のアイテムだ。日本ではソニーミュージックショップ限定での販売となる。

今回の“チェイシング・ザ・サン”プロジェクトでは、上記ボックス・セット以外にもスタンダード・エディション（CD1枚）、デラックス・エディション（CD3枚組）の国内盤2形態が、世界のどこよりも早く日本で10月5日に発売される。
『ビィ・ヒア・ナウ』
『ビィ・ヒア・ナウ』は、1996年10月から1997年5月にかけて、プロデューサーのオーウェン・モリスと共にアビイ・ロード・スタジオ、リッジ・ファーム・スタジオ、エアー・スタジオにてレコーディングが行われ、1997年8月21日（木）に発売。わずか3日間で70万枚を売り上げ、デビュー作から3作連続で全英アルバム・チャートの1位を獲得、当時のイギリス史上最速の売り上げとなったほか、これまでに全世界で800万枚以上のセールスを記録している。
